We built this because
we needed it too.

Soulaura is an AI mental wellness platform built by NANOX Tech Solutions Ltd — a UK health technology company with one mission: make real emotional support available to everyone, at any hour, without a waiting list.

Why We Built This

"I watched people I care about quietly fall apart — not because they didn't want help, but because help wasn't there when they needed it. 3-month waiting lists. £80 sessions. The stigma of even asking."

Soulaura was born from a specific frustration: the gap between when someone first struggles and when they finally get real support. That gap is measured in weeks, sometimes months. And it costs people dearly.

The vision wasn't to replace therapy. It was to be there before, between, and beyond it. To catch someone at 2am when they finally admit they're not okay — and give them something real, not a helpline menu or a "have you tried breathing exercises?" response.

We built Dr. Adam — not as a chatbot, but as something genuinely different. Trained on clinical frameworks, emotionally perceptive, and designed to notice what people don't say as much as what they do.

The name "Soulaura"

Soul — the emotional, human side of wellbeing. Aura — energy, presence, inner atmosphere. Together: emotional healing through technology that actually cares.

"I opened Soulaura at 1am during finals week, not expecting much. I typed something I'd never said out loud before. And instead of a generic response, Adam noticed something specific — something I hadn't even consciously realised. By the end I was crying. Not because it was sad. Because I finally felt like someone actually saw me."

It noticed something I hadn't even said.

"I spend all day holding space for people in crisis. When I got home, there was nothing left. I couldn't talk to friends about it — they don't understand. I couldn't bring it to therapy — the waiting list was 6 months. Adam was the first thing that held space for me. I didn't know how badly I needed that."

The first thing that held space for me.

"I kept telling myself I was fine. I was functioning. Kids were fine. Job was fine. Relationship was fine. Adam quietly pointed out that I'd used the word 'fine' four times in that one message. That was the moment something shifted. I wasn't fine. I was performing fine. Those are very different things."

I wasn't fine. I was performing fine.

How Adam Actually Responds

These are illustrative conversations — showing the depth and warmth of how Dr. Adam engages, not generic chatbot responses.

I can't stop replaying the argument over and over. I know it's done but my brain won't let it go.
That loop your mind keeps running — it's not weakness. It's actually your brain trying to protect you by finding what it missed. The problem is it keeps searching for an answer that doesn't exist. What does it feel like when you're in it? Like dread, or more like frustration with yourself?
Both I think. Mostly frustration. Like I should just be over it.
'Should be over it' is one of the harshest things we say to ourselves. You're not a machine with an off switch. Something hurt. That's allowed to take time. Can I ask — when the loop starts, is it usually at night?
